    ""Disk Cleanup.job" (CLEANMGR.EXE)

    Result: Some cleaners did not complete successfully(1).

  • How to fix?

    Note: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system, use Registry Editor at your own risk.

    You must change the appropriate registry values so that they match the return values of Cleanmgr.exe:
     
    1. Change the value of 3 in the following registry key to a value of 4:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Plus!\System Agent\SAGE\Disk Cleanup\Result Codes\3

    After you make this change, the registry key appears as:
     
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Plus!\System Agent\SAGE\Disk Cleanup\Result Codes\4

    2. Change the value of 2 in the following registry key to a value of 3:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Plus!\System Agent\SAGE\Disk Cleanup\Result Codes\2

    After you make this change, the registry key appears as:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Plus!\System Agent\SAGE\Disk Cleanup\Result Codes\3

    3. Change the value of 1 in the following registry key to a value of 2:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Plus!\System Agent\SAGE\Disk Cleanup\Result Codes\1

    After you make this change, the registry key appears as:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Plus!\System Agent\SAGE\Disk Cleanup\Result Codes\2

    4. Change the value of 0 in the following registry key to a value of 1:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Plus!\System Agent\SAGE\Disk Cleanup\Result Codes\0

    After you make this change, the registry key appears as:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Plus!\System Agent\SAGE\Disk Cleanup\Result Codes\1
