  "Code 23"

  Step 1: Start Windows Audio service
  
  1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc and click ok.
  2. In the list of services, double click on Windows Audio.
  3. Change the startup type to Automatic and click Start button.
  4. Once the service is started, click ok to apply the changes.
  
  Step 2: Check windows optional updates to see if there is any update available for sound card
