Graphics Card Driver Problem

First you can check our help page to know: What is Device Driver and Why Cause the Driver Errors. If your pc has the problem with display driver, you can try the following steps to resolve this issue:

  • 1. Check the graphics card driver to see is it installed correctly? Steps: Right click on "My Computer" > select and click "Properties" > Click "Device Manager" to open it.
    Display adapters

And find the "Display adapters" to check if there is the graphic card driver. If you haven't found it, maybe it haven't been installed on your pc and you need to install; If you have seen a yellow "!", maybe the video card drive hasn't installed correctly, incompatible or not the latest version, you need to remove the wrong one and re-install it. You can try the driver detective software to update your graphics driver to the latest version.

  • 2. If the problem still exists, maybe there are some registry errors on your windows system. Start the computer with safe mode to repair the general failure of registry corruption. If the registry problem didn't disappear, with "the last known good configuration" or the manually backup of the registry files to restore your registry. Not resolved? next step.

  • 3. Graphics card is not compatible with your system. You can replace it with another card and then testing. If the problem hasn't gone away, may be the motherboard problem and replace it to test.

  • 4. If you haven't fixed the problem with the above steps, perhaps there are some damaged files on your system, you only have to reinstall your operating system to resolve, I will choose the Windows 7.

The graphics card driver is a program and used for driving your graphics, if you use the different system, you need to install the different drives for your hardware. To keep your pc the latest and the most suitable drivers is necessary and important :)
