Recover Deleted Files when You Are Not Careful

3 Ways to Recover

Do not over-worry when you lose important files, you should try to find ways to restore it, please try the following several ways to recover:

  • Recovering files from recycle bin

Recycle Bin is actually a hidden folder of hard drive. In the default case, when you delete files from your Windows system(Windows 7/Vista/XP or others), Windows first transfer the deleted files to the hidden folder - Recycle Bin. If you want to restore the files, just go to "Recycle Bin" > choose the files you want to restore > Right-click > select and click "Restore" to recover the files. Unless you directly empty the Recycle Bin or the stored files sizes exceed the permitted capacity of the Recycle Bin after a period of time, the system will automatically remove older files from it, otherwise, the deleted files will be stored in there and you can recover the data any time.

  • Recover your files from temporary or backup files

Some temporary files will be generated when some application softwares are running (especially the office series softwares). As long as you pay attention, you will find lots of similar "ABC1268.tmp" files in the folders (the documents saved) after setting the "Save Backup" and "Autosave" feature, and these ".tmp" files are automatically saved from the office products. If you erased the important files when you are careless, first to check these folders and open the last saved temporary files, maybe you can find the files you need. Additionally, the files similar to ".bak" will be generated when you save the files with some software, you can open these files and save them again, one of them may be the file you are looking for.

  • Recover files with the professional file recovery software

If you empty the Recycle Bin, even partition or formatted hard drive after you accidentally deleted files, the lost data also has some opportunities and ways to recover. But this time you need to use some special tools, such as Remo Recover software, it can recover the deleted/lost photo, music and video files from your hard drive, flash memory cards, USB external drives and iPods quickly, and you need to order a product key to activate it. Additionally, not all the files can be restored, if the deleted files are replaced by other files or the files data space used has been assigned to other documents, the files will not be recovered.
