Please see the FRx Web Port installation guide or call FRx Tech Support." This error occurs when attempting to update links or images in the Administration section of the WebView/WebPort.

  • How to fix?

Cause: The IIS Launch Process Account does not have access to the registry key in which the image and link settings are stored.

To resolve this problem, with the following steps:

1> Click the Start button, and then click Run.

2> Type regedt32, then click OK.

3> Click on the HKEY_USERS on Local Machine window. Double-click on DEFAULT , then Software , then FRxWebSettings , and then select the FRxISAPIExtender key.

4> On the Security menu, click Permissions. Click the Add button. In the Look in list, select the local machine. Scroll down until you find the IWAM_ account, select the account, and then click the Add button. Click OK.

5> In the Permissions section, select the Full Control box. The Launch Process Account must be able to read, create, and modify keys, so Full Control is required.

6> Click OK to close the Permissions for FRxISAPIExtender window.

    7> Close the Registry Editor.

8> Update the links and images - the error should no longer occur.
